10 Days Sea Kayaking
Day 1: Got ready and drove through the snow up to Kiteriteri
Day 2: Stevens bay up to split apple rock, then had lunch on Adel island, in the afternun went up to Mosquito bay.
Day 3: Up to Shag Haber vier Tonga island, then all the way up north to Totranui for a look, back to Tonga to sleep.
Day 4: In to fals river, Frenchmans bay and then down to Apple Tree bay.
Day 5: Early start, strate out to stevens bay to the vans.
Drive up to the sounds
Day 6: My Birthday! Kayak from Momarangy up to Blumine island. saw some Dolfins!! sleped in a old gun imbankment in the hill, got ther in the dark.
Day 7: Over to ships cove for lunch and then out to the island to go fishinfg and get some powa, then down to reserlution bay for a cold night.
Day 8:out to long island and had an amazing lunch out there (All most summer ) had blu cod amd muccels for lunch. then down wind to Ruakaka for the last night in the sounds
Day9: Kayaked back out to Momarangy, ( saw some more Dolfins) then drove to Outwood Bound and got showen around befor sleeping in the padock out the back.
Day 10: Drive home to Greymouth and unpack all the gear.

EXTREME Kayaking

Was a good first week of kayaking. Did lots of flat water and rolling, then got on to some moving water the mighty Aronld River! Moslty did personal skills but also a little bit of rescue on the last day!

Had a good 2nd week kayaking. Had some more flat water sesions and worked more on our rolling. Later on in the week we worked on rescuing techniques: T rescues, H rescues, Self rescues, Deep water rescue, Throw bagging, Boat barging, Stern carry and paddle throwing! Then we also did some work on kayaking as a team. On the friday we went down Mill Town section on the Arahura whitch was SICK
